Will The Bard  //  Sentient Bean Music  //  Metal

A heavy reckoning for the age of weaponized information. When the truth is whatever the algorithm says it is, the only way out is through. Loud, urgent, and refusing to look away.

Who Is
The Bard?

Will The Bard — Heshbon Park, PA

No gatekeepers. No permission. Just the words.

Will The Bard is an independent songwriter, musician, and recording artist from Heshbon Park, Pennsylvania — operating completely outside the machine under his own label, Sentient Bean Music. He's been a computer programmer for 25 years, holds a degree in Technology Management, and knows exactly how the systems work. Which is precisely why he doesn't trust them.

"A business ethics teacher once told me: Find Your Voice. I was already a programmer. Twenty-five years later I'm still building things — just sometimes those things are songs."

He's not raging against a machine he doesn't understand. He built machines. He knows what they optimize for, what they flatten, and what they quietly discard. The music exists because some things shouldn't be optimized. Some truths only survive if someone just says them out loud.

The catalog is wide and intentionally restless — heavy rock, cyberpunk-edged anthems, folk songs, country stories — bound together not by genre but by a single throughline: words that make you stop and think. Built from the inside out. ASCAP member. The establishment doesn't get a cut.

Words

Sometimes I wonder what could have been
What if I stood by you back then
There's so much now I didn't know —
I know I've seen a lot of sorrow.

I wish I would've known what to do.
I should've told you that I loved you.

The Mission

Why It Matters

Music was never meant to be a product.
It was never meant to be owned by three companies, filtered through algorithms, and fed to you while you scroll.

The bard has always been outside the walls. Singing truths the powerful don't want amplified. Giving language to the people who have it but can't find the words.

The goal is simple: make you hear something and think. Question something. Feel something you've been carrying around without a name for it.

The format is music. The real product is a moment of clarity.
